FedEE: QP-HR Counsel®

The future for you: ‘Your name, QP-HR Counsel’

Those with significant experience of working in a multinational HR function often feel that although they are being called upon to give expert advice on a day-to-day basis by their colleagues they lack any recognition for their special skills and standing. For many, starting anew through conventional studies to obtain any qualifications they believe they lack is not an option – due to heavy work commitments. In any case, obtaining a law degree and then a bar qualification in one country – for instance – would not have any substantive relevance to a job that has to handle complex legal problems in numerous jurisdictions.

FedEE’s new HR Counsel route to professional recognition may be the answer for you. It will initially cost nothing to obtain or retain, FedEE owns the trademark right for the designation to be used and it was formerly attached to our Advanced Diploma Course.

If:

  • you have good degree from an institution listed on World University Rankings in any subject,
  • you have at least 7 years working in HR, five of which have been in a senior role within a multinational enterprise,
  • you regularly provide detailed in-house legal advice in the employment sphere to colleagues – covering more than two countries,
  • your current employer is a FedEE Corporate Member headquartered in countries/jurisdictions of the OECD, EU/EEA, RCEP, India, Taiwan or UAE,

then you may apply online for the right to use the designation. It is a simple process and a successful applicant will be issued with an online certificate confirming their right to use the designation ‘QP-HR Counsel’. This title may be placed after your name, but used for internal purposes only – not for seeking to operate an external professional business of any kind.

We maintain a register and any third party wishing to confirm your status may contact us to confirm its validity. The designation will apply for as long as you continue working for a FedEE Member company and for up to 6 months after you leave. At the end of May 2024 we shall be updating our entry rules, introducing further qualifying criteria and charging a regular fee for maintenance of the professional designation. However, those approved during the short “window” prior to 31st May 2024 will not be affected by these changes.

If you meet the entry criteria why not apply today? All data provided shall be treated with the strictest confidence under FedEE’s Data Protection Policy.
