A US district court in Texas has issued a preliminary injunction blocking the national Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Regulations (FPSW).The so called “blacklisting rule” forces contractors bidding for substantial federal projects to disclose their previous labour law violations. It will now be up to the federal government to appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in the hope that the ban can be overturned.
