◉ Termination by the employer According to Article 282 of the Labour Act, an employer has the right to terminate the employment service of a worker for the following: If they have committed a serious misconduct or were knowingly disobedient towards their employer or representative in relation to their work and the lawful work orders; For gross and consistent neglect of their duties; For committing fraud or willingly breaching the trust bestowed on them by their employer or an authorised representative; For committing a crime or an offence against their employer, an immediate member of their family or an authorised representative; and Any other reasons which are similar or equivalent to those stipulated above …
