Global employers for gender equality

A gathering of major global employers on the eve of the UN Global Leader’s Meeting on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment has made major commitments to ridding the world of gender discrimination by 2030. Leading the initiative are the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Alibaba Group and Unilever. Other companies involved are Coca-Cola, Cisco, Infosys, Itaipu, MasterCard, H&M, Citibank, The State Bank of India, The Ford Foundation, General Electric and Nigeria’s Dangote Group.
