The latest EU data, just published, shows that – in 2019 – the difference between female and male gross hourly earnings was, on average, 14.1%. The biggest gap was in Estonia (21.7%) and the smallest gap in Luxembourg (1.3%). In the USA, the equivalent gender pay gap was 18% in 2019.
