Employees are entitled to take the following additional paid leave: 14 – 30 days in case of a pregnancy termination; 30 days per year for care of sick children under 12 years’ old; 15 days to care for older dependant children; 15 days to care for close relatives; 15 days’ paid time off for their own marriage (upon giving 5 days notice); 20 days off for the loss of a child (Art 251 Labour Code) + psychological care 5 days off for the illness or death of an immediate relative (spouse, common law partner, or parent); 2 days off for the illness or death of other close relatives (grandparent, nephew etc) …
