Although there is a standard trial (probationary) period of 60 days prior to final confirmation of a permanent contract, it is possible to agree a longer period in writing. This may be 4 months for highly qualified employees and six months for exceptional technical positions and managerial workers.
In the case of fixed-term contracts, the probationary period is 15 days for unskilled workers and 30 days for skilled workers.
It is also possible to conclude pre-employment agreements. These must be in writing and state the type of work to be undertaken and the rewards that will apply.
