Sten Bauer was educated at the University of Stockholm, the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva. Before joining Baker & McKenzie, he worked for the Swedish Employers' Federation, the District Court, and also for the law firms of Lenz, Schluep, Briner & de Colon in Geneva and Landahl & Bauer in Sweden. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and a board member of the Stockholm Bar. He joined Baker & McKenzie, Stockholm, in January 1991. His languages include English and French.
